Being a fan of the original movie with Patrick Swayze, Erin Grey, Thomas C. Howell; I was excited to see it remade with today's graphics and special effects. I was SO disappointed. It was full of action, the actors were good, but the storyline was.....well there was none. It ruined the whole movie. Then when they tried to developed a storyline they went with the most implausible, cheesy one they would find. I mean, they went out of their way to make it bad. It was a waste of my night!

Should have never done a remake of this classic. Bad acting and b list actors make this a waste of your time and money. If you have to see this wait for DVD. Rating 3 out of 10.

This will go down as the worst remake ever, and by far the worst movie of 2012 (and there are some doozies for 2012). 1. Acting - could it been any worse? 2. CGI - did they do this on an Atari 2600? 3. NO character development! If you want to waster your money and two hours of your life, go to this $hit movie!

I really liked it; big fan of the original. Although I thought it was really good, I thought it was a bit rushed. The original allowed you to get to know the characters better. This one was just action packed with a bit of an unrealistic viewing. I'd see it again though.

did a real good job on this movie. not like the old one. but i like the old the most. still a good movie go and see it. .
